Yet again, we start with a fresh, blank sheet of paper. The 2008 was very successful, very productive and very beneficial. I’d like to take up where I left off in 2008 and further broaden and extend my knowledge, experience and skills. I’ve prepared a short list of things I want to achieve in 2009, which are just a small part of my long-term goal list.

So, in 2009 I will (in no particular order):

• continue to learn and broaden my knowledge in the field of computer graphics, especially on the 3D technical side
• dive more into postproduction area, specifically regarding HD video
• continue to bring the best possible, free of charge, education to duber.tv and try to attract more professionals to contribute their know-how, tips and tricks
• expand my area of expertise and services with a few more exciting options I have lined up here on my desk
• broaden my financial portfolio
• move to a new, bigger, flat
• continue to learn and master Maya
• start developing much larger, publicly availabe, projects using Python, .NET, PyQT, MAXScript and various other extensions
• make a new, killer, showreel for 2009, possibly by this year’s Siggraph
• no more than 3 coffees per day
• lose at least 20 kilograms of fat

In January 2010, we’ll see which of these goals I’ve met and at which I failed. I hope I’ll be able to make all of these by the end of this year. It should be doable, close, but doable
