Shotgun API 3.0.15 and duberPython, all OK!

I updated my Shotgun wrapper for duberPython yesterday to support the latest and greatest Shotgun API ver. All seems to be working pretty well, without any issues.

I added all the methods available by the API to my MAXScript wrapper, so that everything is fully accessible, through duberPython, from inside 3ds Max!

I will be releasing this wrapper to the public real soon, so stay tuned!

  1. Hi,

    I am starting in Shotgun (first day!) and on python in maxscript as it is required…
    I guess that your wrapper isn’t necessary now that python has been integrated in Max?
    But what is the command for wrapping the engine?
    I am looking into
    sg = Python.Import(“whatToPutHere?”)
    am I on the right track?

  2. Hey Gregory, to be perfectly honest, I haven’t looked at the newer Max Python integration as I’m still, believe it or not, running Max 2014 and, therefore, my duberPython integration. I’d love to offer and advice, but I can’t as I’m not familiar with the current Python integration in Max 2017/2018.
