finalRender Stage-1 material set 02

loocas | 3ds Max,finalRender | Monday, January 28th, 2008

The materials are back on-line! I’ve decided to move these downloadable materials here, so that anyone can download and use them as they like! I was quite surprised by the response I got from people around the world when I temporarily took the materials down from my business web site,, so here they are in their original form in one, convenient, package:

finalRender Stage-1 material set 02 (requires WinRAR to unpack)

Here are the preview renders of the materials included in the package (Advanced Car Paint, Aniso Metal, Carbon Fibre, Electron, Neon, Sand, Sex Toys, Snow and newly added Gold!)

One last note about usage, all the materials are provided under the Creative Commons licence!

  2. Is there any way to open this in Cinema 4D ?

  3. Unfortunately not. This is strictly a 3ds Max thing.

  4. Sad…

Can you perhaps send me the configs so that i can make it for Cinema 4D ?

  5. You can download the configs above, if I got what you mean by “configs” right?

  6. Cinema 4D can’t handle mat files.

  7. I am aware of that, but, what else do you want? These were made for Max’s finalRender, if you want to re-make them in Cinema, look at the renders :)

  9. Good to see materials available for finalRender as there seems to be a distinct lack of available assets for such a great plugin.

    Nice work & thanks. . .

I’ll be adding a selection of addons/materials and 3ds downloads myself shortly so feel free to drop by to my site : or visit the blog for hints & tips :
