Autodesk has announced its 2015 software line and Max seems to have gained some very nice additions, fixes and plugins!

I’m mostly psyched about the Python support (which was not so good in Max 2014) and the new Layer system! YAY!

  1. What do you think about the new python add in 2015, is it worthly? or which are the limitations? Can we use it with riggs?

    (between you and me, I currently feel how u did 2013)

    Are you privy to the deadline 6.2 rc beta? If you are, hows it like handling jobs to 3ds/maya 2015?

  4. Hey, guys, well, the Python support is there. But it’s still not 100% there. As in being able to use Python in script controllers and such. What a shame :(

    But, overall, 2015 seems rather OK. I’m yet to fully migrate over to 2015 as I’m still reliant on some older plugins and tools that have not been converted, yet.

    As for Deadline, I cannot comment on that one here, unfortunately… ;)
